What began as an L.A. band that wanted to raise funds for their local food bank, has grown into a worldwide network.

Music brings people together like nothing else, so why not use that power and energy to achieve great things in our own communities!

Bread Over Bombs is a music based community organization that works together to solve hunger by supporting local food banks through music sales, merchandise and events.

Through an international network of talented board members and volunteers, a local chapter works together to unite their community to eradicate hunger.

Reputable food banks are selected and vetted in advance to ensure that all the proceeds that are raised, are utilized in the most efficient means possible.

As of today, B.O.B. has provided over 20,000 meals to the L.A. Regional Food Bank, and is working to build a global network of Individuals and industry professionals to support people in crisis, in their own communities around the world.

Our world’s population is predicted to rise to nine billion by 2040.

Somehow as a civilized society we will need to work together to feed two billion more people.

Currently there are more than 800 million people that are malnourished.

Another two billion are short of essential micronutrients, which adversely affect health.

In 2014, there were 46.7 million people living in the United States in poverty. This is up from 37.3 million in 2007. The number of poor people is near the largest number in the 52 years for which poverty statistics have been published
